Jason has over 20 years experience motivating creative teams to deliver cutting-edge work. He has created award-winning work for brands such as McDonald’s, Target, Samsung, Wrigley’s, Reebok, Vitamin Water, Boost Mobile, Heineken, NBA, MTV/VH1 and Coke Classic’s “Real” campaign.
Most recently, Jason worked at Translation NYC (an agency backed by Jay-Z.) There he created State Farm’s “Can I get a hot tub?” campaign, placing the insurance giant at the forefront of the young adult market. As a result of his work, the brand and the quote have become a part of contemporary culture. To date, there have been 500,000 YouTube views, countless Twitter mentions and over 300 parodies (the digital world’s most sincere form of flattery).
Music taught me the importance of collaboration, and how to roll up my sleeves and get it done.
Jason is the recipient of countless creative awards, including D&AD, One Show, Effie, CA and the NY Art Director’s Club. He spent a good part of his career at Berlin Cameron Partners as founding partner and Creative Director. During his tenure at Berlin Cameron, the agency was named AdWeek and AdAge‘s Agency of the Year.
Jason grew up in Phoenix, where he played guitar for a punk-rock band. Being deep into the music scene taught him the importance of collaboration and finding just the right details to connect with the audience, and the willingness to roll up his sleeves and get it done. Jason and his family all now reside in Chicago.
