NORM YUSTIN NAMED PRESIDENT AT EURO RSCG CHICAGO
CHICAGO – February 2, 2011 – Euro RSCG Chicago today announced that Norm Yustin has joined the agency as president. Yustin joins Euro RSCG from Claire’s Stores, the world’s leading fashion accessory brand for teens with over 3,500 stores globally, where he served as global chief marketing officer.
This appointment comes on the heels of recent new business momentum for the Chicago agency from the likes of Groupon and Sprint’s mobile marketing efforts. Yustin will report to President of Euro RSCG North America Ron Bess. During his recent tenure at Claire’s Stores, Yustin helped turn around Claire’s into a vibrant, integrated global marketer and launched the brand’s first content and editorial fashion website, its first e-commerce site and on-going mobile and e-mail campaigns.
Yustin’s passion for advertising has brought him back to the agency world. His background includes a long history of success at agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked on Unilever and Nestle, and eight years at Leo Burnett where he rapidly rose through the ranks, from leadership assignments in Vietnam and Poland to a senior role as Global Account Leader at Burnett in Chicago. Yustin then was recruited by Fallon where he was named global brand director. During his career, Yustin has worked with some of the world’s leading brands including Procter & Gamble, Mercedes Benz, Ikea, Johnnie Walker, Nintendo, Activision, JC Penney and Tommy Hilfiger, to name a few.
“Norm really understands the future of our business and the importance of digital, social media and mobile to our clients. He brings a breadth of experience to the agency and we’re very excited to welcome him to our leadership team,” said Bess. Yustin’s work over the years has been recognized with eight Effie’s, fourteen Cannes Lions, including a Gold Lion for media, Kelly Awards, Clio Awards, and honors at the One Show. He is a graduate of The Richard Ivey School of Business in Ontario, Canada.
